Mary Smucker
Mary Smucker has been a search marketer since 2004, working both agency and client side. She started Simple Search in 2016 and is proud of her team and company’s dedication to client success and digital marketing excellence. Mary has always loved words and spent many of her grade school days at the library reading through almost the entire children’s section. Search marketing was a natural progression. She lives in the Hudson Valley with her family, including a dog, 2 cats and a crazy kitten.
Katie Conroy
Launching into her digital career in 2010 after a degree in Advertising from the University of Maine, Katie quickly fell in love with SEO and Local Search working at agencies in Portland, Maine. Opportunities called her to Boston where she continued to work at agencies as well as in house for the travel industry and non-profit sectors. She thrives on working collaboratively and digging deep into data sets to simplify storytelling and get to the nitty gritty “so what?”
She currently lives in Portland, ME with her partner and two daughters, as well as a very fat cat named Squeaks and a rambunctious dog named Tonks.
Catherine Gauthier
A seasoned marketer since 2011, Catherine jumped into the world of paid media right out of college. She quickly earned increasing responsibility as her career progressed, starting as a paid search campaign manager to most recently leading the entire LATAM media team for Royal Philips. A veteran of both the in-house and agency side of the business, she has experience managing both digital and traditional media campaigns from start to finish with a focus on performance excellence and highly personalized strategy.
Catherine lives with her husband and son in Waltham, MA, and is an avid lover of live music (her record is two dozen concerts attended in one year!). She also enjoys traveling, from New Zealand to Iceland to South America, and watching horror movies. She recently completed her Marketing MBA at Northeastern, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Meridith Mucci
Meridith has almost a decade of experience managing paid digital strategies for clients across verticals on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping and Remarketing efforts. Her expertise includes account setup, keyword and audience strategy creation, ad creation and testing, account optimization, and detailed reporting. As the Director of Paid Search, Meridith oversees our Paid Search team to provide insightful, efficient, and effective campaigns.
Meridith loves building trusting relationships with clients and making calls a highlight of their work week while delivering results that help them shine in their marketing team objectives!
Meridith enjoys working on her 80 acre farm in RI and going to the beach.
Laetitia Kieffer
Laetitia has 20 years of experience in multilingual digital marketing. Originally from France, Laetitia started her career in Japan upon graduating from her MBA and spent 6 years in Asia, working agency-side and helping clients strengthen their online presence. She moved to New York in 2011 with GroupM to manage global paid search and paid social programs for Fortune 500 clients.
Laetitia runs media activations from strategy to execution and everything in-between, across both B2B and B2C eCommerce.
She currently lives in Maine, and in her spare time raises sheep, pigs and chickens, with the help of her herding dog, Bill, and her husband!
Nicole Kapopoulos
Nicole is a digital marketing leader with 15+ years of experience in paid search, ecommerce, lead generation and full-funnel marketing strategy. She has managed multimillion-dollar budgets across Google, Meta, Amazon and emerging retail media platforms, helping brands drive measurable growth through data-driven optimization and strategic media planning. Nicole is known for building high-performing teams, developing scalable processes, and translating complex analytics into actionable business impact.
Nicole is currently based in Hudson, MA and outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Boston sports, and reality TV.
Danny Smucker
Danny Smucker is a dynamic professional with a unique blend of experience in both finance and marketing. He graduated from Saint Anselm College, where he balanced academics with his passion for baseball as a member of the college team. After two years in financial advising, Danny discovered his interest in marketing and made the pivot, bringing with him a strong foundation in client relationships and analytical thinking.
Having lived in much of the Northeast, Danny appreciates the value of building connections and loves exploring new cities. Outside of work, you can often find him enjoying time with friends, discovering new spots, or catching a game.
Elizabeth Hernandez
Ellie has extensive experience guiding and executing SEO projects from the planning/market research stage all the way to implementation, as well as monitoring performance to ensure KPIs are met.
Beyond SEO, Ellie loves exploring new recipes, spending time at the beach, and caring for her four-legged friends. A great Spotify playlist and a cup of tea fuels her creativity and focus.
Tony Vodicka
Tony has been in the digital marketing field for over a decade and loves all things digital. He enjoys thinking of new ways of bringing in more traffic to a website and improving the overall user-experience.
Tony likes taking on new challenges, helping others, and learning new technologies and programming languages. In his free time he likes to hike, lift weights, go on trips with his daughter, and collect action figures and Garbage Pail Kids cards.
Natalie Kowalinski
Natalie started developing her digital marketing skills while attending the University of Scranton, immersing herself in content creation, market research, email marketing, and SEO. Upon graduating with a degree in Marketing, she began her career managing traditional and digital media campaigns for a diverse range of accounts in the pharmaceutical, e-learning, and CPG sectors. For the better part of a decade, Natalie’s passion for creativity and data-driven results has driven her to collaborate with some of the world’s largest media agencies, and she is happy to be leveraging her skills and passion here at Simple Search.
Natalie is based in the Hudson Valley and enjoys hiking with her dog, playing the piano, and drawing. She hopes to visit many of the countries she’s seen in her favorite Netflix shows.
Gabriela Rodríguez
Gabriela Rodríguez has been a digital designer since 2016, with experience in digital marketing across various industries such as insurance, gourmet food, real estate development, and cultural projects, the latter as an illustrator. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep passion for the importance of imagery in the digital space. She has worked with agencies managing brands in both Mexico and Latin America, led the design for Philips LATAM, and most recently served as Art Director for a business unit at FEMSA.
Passionate about creating visually appealing and functional designs, Gabriela joins the Simple Search Marketing team, where she continues her mission to develop content that highlights each brand’s unique style and personality. She is also particularly interested in UI/UX, striving to incorporate this perspective into every project while adapting to the fast-paced and flexible nature of the digital world.
Gabriela lives in Puerto Escondido, on Mexico’s Pacific coast, where she finds inspiration in the natural landscapes. In her free time, she dedicates herself to pottery, a practice that reflects her love for detail and creativity.
Aneta Connolly
Blending her analytical skills with a creative nature, Aneta delivers impactful results by analyzing and enhancing the strategy, technical settings, and visual aspects of Paid Social campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement. Her diverse experience spans global clients and small businesses, covering B2B and B2C markets.
Based in New Jersey, Aneta shares her home with two dogs, Gemini and Dalia, and two cats, Banjo and Montana. A true Gemini, she embraces her dual nature—outdoorsy adventurer and cozy gamer. When she’s not hiking or gaming, you’ll find her capturing beautiful moments through her lens as a passionate photographer.
Brant Caraberis
Brant Caraberis is a seasoned marketing leader with over 20 years of experience driving digital growth, customer acquisition, and performance across industries. He has worked in both Agency and Client side settings, blending data-driven decision-making with creative storytelling to deliver measurable business results. He lives in Natick, MA with his family and loves hiking or skiing in the mountains. He and his family have visited 26 of the 63 U.S. National Parks (so far).
Jamie Paton
Jamie has over a dozen years of experience in the digital marketing realm with a particular knack for SEO and content creation. After graduating from Penn State University, it was almost by happenstance that she found herself at an Internet marketing agency in a content role, but quickly fell in love with the ever-changing landscape that is organic search. That passion still persists today and she enjoys sharing that excitement with clients, helping them to understand best practices and strategies to improve their online visibility. Ever the writing nerd, she also maintains her own blog where she shares her musings about anything and everything TV-related. Away from the computer, Jamie enjoys exploring the great state of New Jersey via her bicycle and kayak.
Shannon Downer
Shannon began her career in digital marketing through a passion for writing and quickly became fascinated by SEO. Through her experience growing the online presence of healthcare clients, law offices, and fintech businesses, she’s learned the ins and outs of developing data-oriented organic strategies that reach to the heart of the issue. She enjoys cultivating meaningful relationships with clients and learning about their unique challenges.

Stevie has an inquisitive and thorough approach, and she is an incredible asset to our SEO team. She graduated with a Business Degree from Robert Morris University and is now enjoying both the art and science of the marketing world. Stevie enjoys trying new recipes, tending to her houseplants, and spending time in nature.
